About the dish
Ingredients
- 2 bags PurePasta Rice
- 200g Spinach
- 400g Halloumi
- 420g bacon
- 3 avokado
- Olive oil
- Lemon pepper Sauce
- 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ½ lemon (juice)
- 1tablespoon olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Fresh basil (half a fist)
- 1teaspoon honey – Optional!
How to
Mix together mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add the fresh basil, little by little after your own liking. Put in some honey – Not necessary and skip if you are on a low carb diet. Voila you are done!
Rinse the rice in cold water.
Boil the rice in salted water for about 3 minutes, drain and set aside.
Season the bacon with lemon pepper and fry. Put on a kitchen towels straight from the pan, it helps the bacon get more crispy. Set aside.
Cut the avocado into dices.
Cut the halloumi into strips, drizzle with olive oil and fry on the pan for a few minutes on each side.
Put spinach in a large bowl and mix in avocado and rice.
Cut the bacon into pieces and add to the salad.
Serve the salad with the halloumi and the amazing basil sauce.
