About the dish
Sometimes we forget how wonderful it is to have a good salad. It is totally fine to have some salad at wintertime as well ;)
This chunky Greek salad with PureRice is quick to make. PureRice we have added as it is filled with fiber and fiber is good for your digestion
A Greek salad is perfect with grilled meat, fish or just as it is. This salad is a great accompaniment for Cevapcici as well, you have to try it!
Ingredients
- 1bag PureRice
- ½ red onion
- ½ cucomber
- 200g baby tomatoes (3 plum tomatoes)
- 150g feta cheese
- 1tbsp dried oregano
- 3tbsp olive oil (or more)
- 1tbsp red wine vinegar
- 400g Cevapcici (ćevapčići, minced meat)
- Salt
How to
Rinse the rice in cold water in a colander.
Boil the rice in saltet water for 3 minutes.
Fry the Cevaprici on a frying pan recording to the instructions on the packaging.
Chop the tomatoes in half and place in a large bowl.
Slice the onion, cut the cucumber into pieces and add to the bowl.
Cut the feta into squares and combine with the rest.
Add PureRice and oregano to the salad.
Pour olive oil and vinegar over the salad and toss gently to combine.
Sereve as is or with Cevapcici.
